The title of this show came from combining the Beach Boys 'Wouldn't It Be Nice' with Vanilla Ice' 'Ice Ice Baby'. I was interested in using these two songs as poles that created a gamut of expressions of desire and/or love. Positioned within that was a web of work relating to polar bears, their sexiness, and anxiety about their imminent extinction and our relation to it, car customisation, hip hop, design innovation in consumer ice coolers, children's television shows, car shows, fake ice, and nail polish.
